We are currently looking for a Front Office Executive to join our Global Headquarters in Amsterdam. This is a full-time position (20 hrs / week). 

As a Front Office Executive, you will work in a small team and report to the Office Team Lead. The core tasks of the Front Office Executive include welcoming our visitors, new hires and trainees in our Global Headquarters and providing them with a real Booking.com experience. You are a driven person and you find it important to work at a high level of service. You want to take Booking.com to the next level in helping to create the ‘wow’ experience for your colleagues, visitors and partners. You live and breathe hospitality and are willing to go that extra mile. You have a passion for people – you have exceptional communication skills, you are a team player, and you are flexible and you like to work in an international environment. You understand that you will play an important role in people’s first impression of Booking.com, and you know how to make a difference.

B.responsible:

  • Make our visitors, new hires and trainees feel welcome at the Booking.com Global Headquarters
  • Since you are the first and last point of contact for all external and internal guests, trainees, trainers and suppliers, you play an important role in providing the right Booking.com experience to all of our guests who are visiting or calling the Booking.com Global Headquarters
  • Open and responsive to answering questions and handling remarks, complaints and/or demands from all guests
  • Involved in postal procedures concerning incoming (express) mail and packages
  • Handling the registration of guests and badge access
  • Opening and closing of the Booking Reception Desk
  • Day-to-day (soft) security tasks
  • Flexible when it comes to all daily tasks
  • Being an active member of the Emergency Response team (ERO)
  • Ensuring that the property, internally and externally, is maintained and clean and tidy at all times

B.skilled:

  • 1+ year of relevant work experience (hospitality minded function)
  • Live and breathe hospitality
  • MBO+ graduated (reception or hospitality) 
  • No 9-5 attitude   Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English (both spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of JIRA or other incident management systems a plus
  • Clear motivation to work in a hospitality minded function
  • Willing to work different shifts starting between 7 and 10 am
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Sees opportunities and takes initiative
  • Efficient and able to work under pressure

  • Accurate eye for detail & quality
