Graduate Hackathon

April 13 - 14, 2017
Booking.com HQ, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

The Challenge

Booking.com is the global leader in connecting travelers with the widest choice of incredible places to stay, regardless of their budget or destination. We’re now inviting the most creative young minds to help turn the web into an even more addictive and rewarding environment.

From April 13 to 14, Booking.com will be hosting a student and graduate Hackathon at our Amsterdam city centre HQ. You’ll have 48 hours to unleash your inner daredevil and completely change the face of global travel.

We will gather around talented Backend Developers, Frontend Developers & UX Designers due to graduate in 2017 or having graduated in 2016. Multidisciplinary teams of three will be formed to hack on our Booking.com API. The challenge is a classic architectural puzzle worthy of any Roman, Egyptian, or Sumerian master builder: using your creativity and skill, you’ll have to build something to help travellers find the perfect place to stay. The end result will be presented to a jury of Booking.com professionals.

Join this Hackathon to find out what it's like to work for the world's biggest accommodation site and one of the most profitable e-commerce companies worldwide.

The Rules

  • You must be already based in the Netherlands
  • You have a background in backend development, frontend development or UX design.
